Play with Purpose: Breast Cancer Awareness Games That Bring Families Together
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time when families, friends, and communities come together to show support, spread awareness, and celebrate hope. This month, we’re spotlighting a few beautiful breast cancer awareness games that let you play with purpose while supporting a cause that touches so many lives.
At Quick Board Games for Families, we believe board games have a special way of connecting people — through laughter, learning, and shared moments.
There aren’t many board games specifically supporting breast cancer awareness. Some board games designed in the past are Scrabble: Pink Edition, Trivia Pursuit and Ticket to Ride: Pink Edition. Google them, and you might find a version on eBay or Amazon.
Anyway, I’m an advocate for Breast Cancer Awareness. While these board games weren’t specifically created to support the cause, their pink designs make them a fun and subtle way to show support and raise awareness.

Piggy Piggy
Age: 7+ | Players: 2–6 | Play time: 20 minutes
Publisher: Hasbro
How to play Piggy Piggy
In Piggy Piggy, everyone starts with five cards—each representing a food type like tacos (yellow) or ice cream (pink). On your turn, you play all cards of one food type in a stack. If your stack has the most of that food, you get the matching colored pig figure—or you can even steal it from another player!
Feeling mischievous? Play a goat card to sabotage someone else by discarding one of their food cards—maybe even forcing them to give up their pig! When you redraw at the end of your turn, each new card that matches one of your pigs earns you points. First player to 8 points wins.
Why it fits the theme: The pink ice-cream cards and adorable pig figures bring a cheerful touch—perfect for your pink game night for breast cancer awareness. Added bonus, this is a great budget friendly board game or stocking-filler game as it is less than $10.
Sip or Spill - Adults Party Game
Age: 21+ | Players: 2–6 | Play time: ~30 minutes
This adult party card game mixes dares and truths with a fun twist: answer honestly (“spill”) or sip your drink. It’s hilarious, fast-paced, and designed for an open-minded crowd.
How to play: Draw a “Spill” card and answer it—or skip and take a “Sip” instead. Laughter and light chaos guaranteed!
Pink connection: The bold, bright pink box and cheeky design make this a standout choice for adults supporting breast cancer awareness while keeping the night lively. Also making this for a fun girls night out.
UNO Barbie
Age: 7+ | Players: 2–10 | Play time: 15–30 minutes
Everyone knows Uno, but this Barbie edition adds a stylish, empowering pink twist. Match cards by color or number, use Wilds and Skips to outsmart opponents, and don’t forget to shout “UNO!” when you’re down to one card.
Uno Barbie is family-friendly, instantly recognizable, and makes a wonderful addition to any Breast Cancer Awareness Month game lineup. Also, another budget-friendly option is being under $10 as a gift idea.
That Totally You
Age: 12+ | Players: 3–8 | Play time: ~30 minutes
A personality and guessing party game where players answer fun “which one fits you” questions. Then everyone guesses who gave which answer.
Perfect for: Girls’ nights, team bonding, or awareness gatherings. It sparks laughter and conversation — exactly what you want from a pink party game.

Burn Book - Mean Girls: The Party Game
Age: 14+ | Players: 4–8 | Playtime: 20 minutes
Round up your friends, grab a page from the Burn Book in Mean Girls: The Party Game, and take turns dishing out juicy answers to fun, sometimes scandalous questions about each other. The twist? Everyone’s responses are anonymous — at least, until the end of the round!
Once all answers are in, players choose one they’d like to uncover. If it’s yours, you’ll have to own up to it in front of everyone… So maybe think twice before writing something too savage.
Kaile Pocket Domino Set (Pink Edition)
Age: 5+ | Players: 2–4 | Play time: 10–30 minutes
This sleek travel domino set in pink makes a compact, elegant game for families or coffee-table play. Match numbers end-to-end and be the first to play all your tiles.
Why it fits: Small, stylish, and pink — a gentle way to celebrate breast cancer awareness through board games on the go.
